FAY WOOD
CLOVE CHURCH STUDIO
Sited in a small valley ( clove ) between the Hudson river and the Catskill
Mountains, Clove Church was built as a summer church in 1883. Fay Wood
opened Clove Church Studio in 1999. It is a wonderful space for working on
Found Object sculpture, oil paintings of the gardens, unique drawings on
Claybord Black, reverse oil paintings on glass, and a group of life drawings
and watercolors of the" Fish Creek Cats and Friends", most of whom make
their home in the church.
We are open by appointment or when we are hosting an exhibition. To see
